According to TV news this morning it's going to happen on Coniston Water in the Lake District today.

Phoned Coniston TI and her word's were it's 'crap today'. She also said it's been going on since Monday this week.

False Alarm Folks

Now the original bluebird WILL run again and relatively soon - they have progressed amazingly rebuilding it over the last couple of years. That will be something to watch out for !
Ive still got part of the Bluebird when Donald Campbell crashed in it - when they raised it the turbine impellers were all loose in the bottom of the boat ( magnesium mountings rot quickly ) and one of them i mounted in a display box... nice bit of history that |
