None here knows what's exactly going on (or those who might know aren't telling us), some people still recieved parts some did not.
Phone and mail remain unanswered.

Speaking form a purely personal perspective (ie not as oOple admin) you couldn't pay me to drive anything Team Extreme at the moment.
Customer service has always been... suspect, but without any form of backup it just doesn't seem worth the bother when there are so many well supported brands out there at the moment.
It's a shame really.

one of our club members runs a pred, he loves it, has been ordering and receiving parts for the last few months no communication just orders and they come, some parts he waited for but others were within a few days, but last time he tried a couple of weeks ago their paypal account was shut down so he has assumed this is the end!

Very sorry to hear that may be the case.
There are a couple of "official" vega people on this forum, so another shame is that none of them have mentioned anything one way or the other.

Hope they mysteriously appear with some nice new cars. Feels like they might not, that would be a big shame.

sadly doubt it, I did a post a long time ago saying whats the future of vega? as there best products were changing rear motor cars to mid so they worked far better on our uk tracks, but now kyosho,AE, etc all make there own cars straight from the box and fitting a vega kit onto a brand new buggy is a very costly business that most racers will consider just not worth it if the buggy is already mid out of the box.

IMO the best car ever car for the vega treatment was the rb5 vega, worth every penny….but would you now buy an RB6 then a vega kit hmmm not sure I would.

I will never sell my vega, beautiful piece of engineering but times have changed

I do on the other hand think the way they have closed up business one of the most unprofessional I have seen with no respect or gratitude to those that have spent money on there products in the past, If they were to resurrect themselves who would trust them?

The way they treated customers when they weren't in trouble means if they did return they'd disappear just as quick again. Their product is obsolete now anyway as someone has already pointed out every manufacturer now does a mid motor because of the Americans going to sugared tracks.

The only way they could come back is with a forward motor conversion and a lot of ass kissing to make up for their past shoddy customer service. Too many bridges have been burned me thinks.

lol, last factory/warehouse move I was involved with was something like £350 million worth of stock (RRP), well over £50 million worth of machinery. And something like 50000 items.

Took 6 days. And we only broke about half a million worth of stock........

I doubt the entire global rc industry covers that sort of cash!
Anyone who uses the "moving shop" excuse for more than a week probably shouldn't be running a business!

Hi,

I don't know if in your country it's possible, but here, in France, we can knowing if an enterprise is close or not.
It's public, everybody can reading in internet some few information of all enterprise (name of the boss, figure of affair of the last year, when it's created, when it's closed definively, etc ...)

If it's possible in uk, perhaps you can look this ?

Cyrille
