Yep, Losi 22 gets my vote without doubt.

Most RTR's come with shoddy electrics, Ansmann/Mad Monkey most definately one of them (coming from experience).

dont forget that losi22 rtr only comes in rear motor form and you have to buy the extra parts to change it to mid motor. personaly if rtr is what you want i would go for b4.1 as tried and tested for years with loads of bits(not that they break that much) and easy to set up. but thats not to say losi isnt a good car but never seen one run in rear motor config

I thought the B4.1 RTR was very "meh" myself, and fairly fragile for a beginner, if the Losi 22 had been available, i'd have definitely gone for that instead.

And how much do the parts for an MM conversion cost? £20 ish?
(And plenty of guys at our club have run rear (and mid) motored 22s with no issues. All of them faster than me )

You'll generally be safe with any car based on a competition car. So obviously the Losi or AE as has been suggested. Basically, any of the "more prestigious" makes.

PS: I'm back...
