Default Belgian GP 2012 - oOple.com Race Report online

Last weekend saw the 2012 running of the famous Belgian GP race in Kampenhout. Our race report from the event is now online!

The event is fun filled racing with practice from Wednesday until qualifying starts on the Saturday with the 2WD event, and racing concludes with 4WD on the Sunday.

Heavy rain towards the end of Thursday thankfully didn't harm the race too much - though it can't have been fun to camp at the track in those conditions - and my camera felt the rain all the way to the Nikon service centre.

Wouter Wynen took the 2WD event and Grant Williams the 4WD. As ever there was some fantastic racing at the sharp end and a whole lot of laughs beside.

Thanks to the organisers for allowing us to come and making us feel welcome - and to all those great people that helped us, including Stu Evans who put in a lot of effort. Vicky for driving a thousand miles, and of course Schumacher Racing for helping us cover our costs to attend this race.

just a small FYI, how people drive in Brussel != reference how people drive in Belgium
most people in Brussel are not Belgian to begin with

Yep. I actually prefer driving in Paris or Rome over Brussels.
I call Brussels "the Far West of Belgian traffic"

Or they have a company car and they don't care if they trash it
Or they don't have insurance or a drivers licence and they equally don't care if they trash it.
Or they learned how to drive in Cassablanca or Istanbul where road etics are a bit different
