Why is there such a big price difference between the kit on SMD and Euro RC?

Euro RC have it on their site for 219 Euro's which is about 185 quid?

Is this correct?

When I looked it was 299 on euro rc, which is about the same as SMD. Something strange going on there

Yep, I've pre-ordered mine from SMD £250 and was thinking the same thing . Just had a email confirming my order, so I will reply and ask the question..

If they are 185 quid from euro rc, I may get one. Lol.

There will be some upset smd customers though.

I am guessing the Tax man is probably the cause of that.

219eur includes tax (at least in Finland), it would be around 170eur or so without tax.

I don't know this so don't shoot me down, but maybe the price has been finalised by team c in Hong Kong? And maybe euro rc have been quicker to put the new price in place? It WAS up at 299 euros last week on their site, and yes it's now 219. That surely can't be a discounted price already? Madness if it is

Guess it has much to do with volumes, we are a big TeamC store with a large stock of products. We also always give discounts on pre-ordered products. This means the price will probably be more in line with SMD when the product itself arrives.

Thanks for the info Axel.

Do you know how much delivery to the UK would be for this kit?

for 20e you can get anything shipped fast to UK from our shop. For 10e you get anything that fits an envelope. Over 300e orders are free shipping.

PS. We actually had a pricing error on the kit so those who bought it early got a very good deal.

Ah thanks, I thought it was a bit too cheap to be correct!

Now that your price has gone up and SMD's has come down there is nothing in it once you add delivery charges on.

So did I, there is no way that price was ever correct, they would have lost money on every sale
