I hope they make the body out of lexan/polycarbonate now and not the split and crack PEP material!!

So they haven't made a new body, it is just the cab forward Tc02c shell then? Doesn't look a particularly good fit round the bottom

Looks like it.
There is still a place foreseen for the slipper of the TC02C while the slipper of the TM2 is not there anymore!
I would prefer a new body but if I have to choose for the TM2 with the "old" body asap or TM2 with a new body later on, then give me the car with the "old" body (yesterday preferably!!)

Seems like the rear bodypost hole is not drilled and that causes the rear end of the body to raise slightly.

Well I guess you can just swop shells with a TC02C, will make life easy when the kits first get here.

The TM2 has the slipper in the middle beside the motor. Just like the T4

Correct; so it is a re-use of the TC02C cab forward body and not a new one (yet).

Have a look at post #25. The body looks like it fits ok there and looks quite good.
They still have over a month if they need to produce a new bodyshell though. But it's great you still have the TC02C options available.

When mine arrives First thing I'm going to do is borrow someones DB1 shell and see if it lines up! - from comparing plan view photos they look very similar and I love the flatter rear part of the DB1 shell.

......Unless Team C come up with an uber sexy shell, that is.
