Guys, give it up you are trying to reason with and understand insanity which is impossible - this will go on and on as the person in question will keep confusing us with drug induced pm's and posts.
I am the guilty party who sold him the xxx4 and all I can say is that I hope it makes him a better person and a better racer.....it was a great car whilst I had it and I hope it is well looked after. All the best with the car stampy and I hope your wife didn't find out whatever you didn't want her to find out in your numerous confusing and mind blowing pm's! Dan

Yep sorry it's all my fault guys!
He has now asked me about 5 times how to mesh the gears and his tone indicates it's my fault or that the buggy is no good because he can't work out the losi motor cam plate and clamp system which I think is a great and easy design......if it takes him more than 5 minutes to work it out then I have lost my faith in mankind! I just explained it and told him to check the online manual, not sure what else I can do?? I like to help as much as I can especially if someone buys something from me but I can't see the issue here. |

This hobby favours the technically minded. If you struggle to work it out even with the manual, are you sure this is the hobby for you?.
I mean this in all seriousness, not as a dig or as a putdown. If you can't mesh the gear in your own home with lots of time then its going to be near impossible for you to do it trackside with limited time. Could you swap a wishbone or rebuild a CVD intime for the next race? Its no fun if you pay for a days racing only to miss most of it trying to get the car going. Racing isn't for erveryone, maybe its time to look a the bigger picture and ask yourself if you were happier just bashing?
