Hey Ross, glad you like it buddy!!

Sorry for the static/overspray problem!!!!

This could have been eliminated with the new RCS Body Prep!

Hi Jon,

Have you ever done anything with a snakeskin effect? I have a new set of wheels on the way in October and quite fancy the idea so was just wondering whether you had done anything like this before, and if you had any images?

On second thoughts, whilst I think snakeskin is a good look Im not sure of the colours. Greens and browns are not exactly easy to see....

But a fork lightning effect using pinks, purples and blues.... Now that could work....

Hi mate

Umm..not that I can recall. Have done quite a few shells though.
Always up for giving something a go.
Lightning can be done also.

Just drop me an email to discuss and we can go from there.

You can use fishnet stockings for Snake skin effects... although that worked fine for me stretching it over stuff, I'm not so sure you'd get it to work inside something. Also, you need to get the right size, RC is going to be pretty small to look right.

Did I mentioned you should make a complete range of thinners based paints Jon, not just candies ?

Tried coating some netting and applying to the outside of a shell, letting it dry and hopefully adopting a nice match to the shell.....didn't work too well though. A technique I would like to try and improve on sometime..

Anyway, hope everyone is well.

Not been posting much but have been busy still. Thought I'd share a few largescale shells done for a meeting this weekend.

Cheerz,

Jon
