Default TOMTOM upgrades

Last year I bought a TOMTOM GO 300 and it's bloody brilliant. It's as it came with the 128mb SD card but it's completely full, so full I can't install the program upgrade so going to need a new memory card. I've since noticed there are all kinds of free download POI's like Brewers Fayre, Travel Lodge etc which will be handy for nationals.

I'm also going to need the international maps for going to Belgium this year, but no idea how big those files are.

So 1) how big an SD card should I get, and 2) where is the best place to "buy" the European maps from?

Cheers,

Dan

I would have thought you would need a 2gb+ card. A 4gb one is probably your best bet if your going to be adding loads of add-ins. The EU Eastern map pack is nearly 900mb.
You can "buy" them from any good "store"

I think our tomtom has a 2 gig card - but cards are so cheap these days you might as well get the biggest you can
We've got all europe maps but they came with it so no idea about buying them - needless to say I added all the mcdonalds.

This is a good forum for TomTom: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/

Suggests maps are locked to device

Seems you might as well buy the 2gb as they are as cheap on ebay as anything smaller???
