Default b4-xxxcr same old question!

My head is telling me to buy another b4 (parts, performance, back up, set up advice on t'internet) but the truth is that they have never really suited my eye, and I much prefer the losi style. Am I mental for being concerned about this? No matter what bodies are brought out for the B4 they never look as great to me as the xxxcr. Can someone please put me straight and tell me that its just as easy to get losi parts and advice, and that losi are still major players in 2wd? Or do i need to go for a lie down and then buy another b4?

Throw the Atomic Carbon S2 & X-Factory X-6 into the mix - Both using the conventional strong parts from the B4 on either car - super easy to drive and look really damn cool !

Losi parts, back up and advice is still as good as it always has been, we for one still carry EVERY parts for all of their off road cars and they all still sell really well, they just have no NEW cars out so are seen to be unfashionable and the team is as small as it ever has been so their prescence around the track is much lower. There used to be only two or three major players in off road (we have had more but it was always AE - Losi and I should really say Schuamcher), but now there are lots of new makes out there and the teams get spread very thin.

The XXX is Ok, if you like it go for one, the B4 is more popular and has found more success on UK tracks, but Darren Bloomfield proves regular that a XXX is still way competative with the B4's etc....

I will finish though and add one point.............get an X6!!! They ARE just awesome!!!!

ok- thanks chaps for making my choices even more difficult! i must admit to being quite impressed with the x-6 now i've read some reviews. I was initially put off by the battery configuration as I wanted to use my tourers lipo's, but i can see now that i can use them with no problem. I like the looks too- kinda old school procat-ish? So perhaps a second hand b4 and use the saving to fund the x-6 kit? whaddya think?

on a serious note,

the XXXCR looks better, but the design and handling is a bit worse than the B4.

the body mounts on the xxxcr are badly located.
The xxxcr is a bit more twitchy and has a bit more understeer on high grip surfaces.

I went for the b4 the first time round, and the xxxcr the second.

I personally like the xxxcr more, this is probably for the looks and the 'thrill' of having something different.

With minispikes all round on a high grip surface the handling of the xxxcr is great for a beginner, or someone coming back to offroad
