Default Help, Starting Over.......

Im just getting back into RC Car racing after 15 years out. Lots of things have changed and im struggling to find a good stick radio for Between £100-£200. The car I will be running is a CAT SX3 and so far i cant work out what brand are good or to avoid etc. Much help would be most appreciated. Also, I will need a good ESC, formally used to use LRP which I always found to be reliable....All responses greatful.....Thanks...

Join the club i only recently came back to buggy racing, and i was amazed how much it has all changed,i went for a KO Propo Esprit II (mainly because i knew the handset and is still a bloody good handset) then converted it to 2.4ghz using the FRSKY conversion, picked up the handset cheap, and was about £30.00 for the module and receiver from http://t9hobbysport.com/,if you want to do this conversion i have a step by step guide on how to do it,all it is is 3 wires to solder on

Speedo wise depends on how much you want to spend if you had LRP before then you wont go wrong with that, still one of the top speedos,i went for the Orion R10 in the end,but again they are all virtually the same inside

Hope this helps
