Default Team C

Hi guys...

Just been looking on the Team C website for a set of their madrat shocks...

Anyone else seen these..

http://www.teamcracing.net/index_pro...1&imgid=614724

and the rear ones too... Just wondering if ansmann are going to release these??

They look really nice! and at $80 (about £50-£60) not a bad price!!

Yeah, I saw this, here, you can buy it :

http://www.tcmodels.net/index.php?pa...mart&Itemid=71

I wonder if its good for a 2wd, because of the spring strenght, the hole size on the piston... But they are beautifull !

Yeah i had a look on that site...

I guess they'd be good, the cougar uses big bores, a lot of 4wd cars are now opting for big bores...

As you say though, depends on the springs you can get... tempted though!!!

I'm sure I read somewhere, someone is using the big bore 4wd shocks on a 2wd already. The shock towers are the same on the 4wd buggy right?. I've almost finished my Team C stadium truck, no big bore shocks for that but it's a very nice thing . I like it more than the buggy. I've been buying all my parts and JConcept tyres direct from Hobbypro since there's no Ansmann (or hobby shops) out here. Green ones on woodys green buggy will be slick

There is not enough clearance to fit big bores onto an X-Pro or Madrat...the gap between the turnbuckles is not enough, just a heads up if you are thinking of ordering these for a rat or X-Pro...they wont fit

I've got some big bore shocks for another car and tried some experiments but by default there simply is not enough room...

Schumacher ones just fit

A 1mm maybe 2mm spacer on the C hub ballstud would also help with clearance

Those pics are from Rob Martin, who says we may use big bore shock mount insteed of the stock ones.

I just now wonder about the springs rate... and the piston

Kedal - Looks awesome
How much clearance is there between the shock springs and the standard camber link turnbuckle at the front? And at the back?
