I wanted to try a few more shots, but I was a bit shy taking my camera round the pits as they might think im a nutter. And I just spent all my time trying to get nice traditional shots of the bikes, took a bit of getting used to as ive never seen anything like it before never mind tried to photograph it.. you were right though, there were some good places to take photos, the track markings sometimes got in the way a bit, but it wasn't too bad.

Incidentally, you should have photographed wherever you wanted in the paddock, folks tend not to mind, and I dare say they'll tell you if they do :P

I think the official oOple test driver for action photo's should still be utilised, Its been a while since I was last on a Mx bike, but I reckon I could still manage it

I was actually invited along with a fella from work, he was was competing on the day. Unfortunatly I was on holiday (hence the lateness of the Telford pics).
Would have been proper wierd to have bumped into each other there. Would maybe have looked like -

I'm off up to the Isle of Mull in a few weeks for the 'Tour of Mull', I'll return with a gallery to publish, (probably mostly Ercorts going a sideways as I can shoot). Rally cars can give really good pics but due to the nature of the way the stages are run on a big event like Mull you don't get as many chances at them as you do with circuit/single venue events of any sort, we'll see what I can get.

I've actually got an F4L on order from Digital-Rev should be here sometime next week.
If I put the 2.8 on my camera I think it would rip the mount off.

haha yea true.. I got my 2.8 from them, was happy with their service.
I think the F4 will be ace mate, for the MX the 2.8 was nice, but certainly for the cars I cant using anyhting that big usually, I need more dof !
