Default Turnigy 4600 90c Short Pack

What are people's thoughts as at £25 each are they too good to be true? Obviously their not BRCA legal and that's not what I'm bothered about just performance.

I've had four of these, one did swell up but the other three have been fine. Ive been running them for the last two years now with no problems.

Just re read your post,I have the 4200 packs. The ones you have seen look like the latest ones.
Still good packs for the price though

I also have a couple of the the 4200 packs. There is no noticeable performance difference between them and my Orions - not a club level anyway.

New BRCA list is out - there is a Ultimate 4600 90C short pack from HobbyKing on the list - seems that the Turnigy name has been dropped from use.

Oh wasn't expecting to see those on the list, they're nano tech ultimate batteries. Just one of the hobbyking batteries. Sticks and saddles. Happy days

I recently bought the Schumacher Core Shorty 4000 mAh and using it in a 2wd with a 10.5 it's great and cost £25 and BRCA legal

Default Shirty

I have 4 , been using them once a week for last 8 months and there fine no swelling ... And run same as new... Always balance charged them and never left them fully charged for more than a day. Perfect to get you going for club racing on a budget IMO
