Default Bmax4 II 2012 Worlds Edition

I'm going to be switching to Yokomo later this year and I want peoples thoughts on the Bmax4 2012WN. They look good in the handling department and stable but if needs be can they be pushed hard?

Alternatively should I wait until they release the new 4wd at the end of the year?

Do we know they are bringing a new 4wd out?

It's a great car. The hard chassis and top deck really makes it more drivable and yes you can really push it.

They are quite expensive but they are very durable. Not many breakages with mine.

Apparently they are working on something for the Worlds, whether it's another derivative of the Bmax4 or a complete new platform I don't know.

I'd still want a Bmax4 though as as it comes with everything.

It may well be a new 4wd (I hope it is) but I dont think it would be available til next year.

B-max4 is a good car. Nothing fancy but well built, handles good and is pretty bulletproof.

Not cheap tho.....

The BMax4 2012 Worlds Edition is a great car, as others have said it goes well and is reliable. As for the price it may seem a bit expensive but you get 2 chassis's, 2 top decks, Titanium Turnbuckles and the alloy rear hubs, anti roll bar kit and all the blue bits. Some of these are only optional parts on other manufacturers kits.

how does it compare to other cars?
what improvements did switching to the yok have on your lap times at your local track and how easy/difficult was it to get setup to your way of driving? did you need additional springs or pistons or hubs or anything additional to get it going the way you wanted?

I'm on my second b max I had one in early 2009 and it was great then and with the latest version it is what is was lacking the biggest improvement was the pick up points for the inner top link

As for comparing to other cars
I have had since my first bmax in order

B max4 2
Tamiya 501x wc
Kyosho Lazer fs2
Cat sx3
Tamiya 511
Tamiya 502x
AE B44.1
AE B44.2
Bmax worlds

To be fair every single one of these cars except the kyosho I have Been at the sharp end at our club racing FORCC I would say all of the cars including the bmax are pretty much on par so IMO it all depends if you like the car or not.

It's your choice if you like it you won't be disappointed on how it drives

Don't get me wrong the all these cars need setting up properly and I reckon I'm pretty good at that.

Ease to setup I would put them in this order

Tamiya 502
Tamiya 511
Tamiya 501
Bmax 4
AE b44.2
AE b44.1
Cat sx3
Kyosho fs2

This is my opinion at our local track racing on dusty wood floor but it gives an onsite of what I think.

This car is really easy to setup. You feel the changes needed and changes do work.
