Gemini X is awesome and will be in production for years.....Exzes like you said isn't going anywhere.....OK they both Sanwa but arguably they are the best anyway so its not like we will have to all learn how to use a wheel....god forbid that day, I'll have to retire lol

not realy as there will always be stick controllers for rc planes and helicopters and i know plenty of people who have done spring convertions on the left stick to make it suitable for cars and boats so no its not the end

"The report of my death was an exaggeration"

You can still get a Futaba 3GR - mid-range, but I've replaced my old 3VC with one and to be honest you barely notice the difference.

The americans and most of europe use wheels so the trends are wheels it seems use lot in blighty are the only main market for stick radios
(I cant use a steerwheel controller)
Also if anyone knows how to stuff a spectrum dx3r in a ko propo esprit i would be interested

All the time there are pro team drivers running with stick handsets then there is no need to worry.

Great question, does anyone have any inside knowledge on this? Reading through the upgrades I'm not sure if I should wait or not, as I was looking at the Exzes X already.

As mentioned this is purely because most of the RC RTR stuff all comes with steerwheels and the biggest markets (Japan/Asia and the US) all seem to prefer wheel's now. However there are still companies like Sanwa that recognise a need so I doubt we will see a true end to sticks. I run an Espritt3 and have bought one spare so when this finally gives up the ghost I have another I can still use.
