Let me know your thoughts on this.
I'll be up for one of these brackets for my runner tub when you get them made. Any chance I could have one made from twill weave carbon?

Unfortunately unsure but tbh when fitted its out of sight so wont matter what weave it is seeing as its sitting behind the motor plate.

Bad news unfortunately. Luckily thats why its a prototype. Side wall needs work as its too high at the front end, front section where the rear front pivot block is too long so stopping the free movement of the wishbones and also where the gearcover is the sidewall is nudging into it so the sidewall needs to be rounded off or cut back a bit. Bit gutted but fibrelyte did nothing wrong and needs to be sent back for ammendments before i can be happy with it

Bummer, but don't consider it a failure, its just one more step towards getting it right

Maybe the sidewalls of the one you made the mould from are spot on only needing the couple tweaks I had mentioned to you, even my old tub here has issues with clearing the gear cover but more from the point that you cant remove it with the gearbox on the car, it does still actually fit

Have more close photos of the underside ? is it rough? Can they make similar for other cars or this is just an exceptional batch ?

Price will be £120 for the chassis, obviosuly not including P&P. Once I am happy with the build and fitting I will give the go ahead to Fibrelyte, and if all goes to plan that should be on Monday / Tuesday.

I will photo it for you but design flaws need ironing out first before im happy with the design. You can have identical to mine if required or as whatever you desire but only once i am satisfied with the finished prodoct

I will have a word with stephen about it and dont see why not. Problem is its flat so i guess if you want a degree or 2 kickup then you need to make it from alloy.

Whats the advantage of it being three piece if there is no kick-up?
