BloodClod's JRX-2 Build
Just sharing a few pictures of the Losi JRX-2 which I've been working on...
Custom delrin lower links to use regular shock ends 3mm Carbon Fiber shock towers Lipo Tray for Saddle Packs Battery Brace with standoffs incorporated into suspension mounts Here's how the car looks... waiting for the liquid mask to dry on the shell. Absolutely beautiful - the Jrx2 was the "dream-car" 2wd I could never afford as a kid. The multilink rear suspension surely was/is amazing for tuning options too.
With the bloodclod treatment brining it into the 21st century - I can't wait to see how it goes! Keep it up, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this project moves on. Cheers, Ty |

Thanks for the kind comments. The JRX-2 was one of my dream-cars too.
That 5-link rear end was (and still is) so very cool! I'm hoping to run this at the local vintage event if the weather holds up - will shoot vids if it comes to pass. Some updates: I've made an undertray for the car to preserve the chassis and also sprayed the shell (thanks Mr Lexan!) Here's the car with the undertray. With shell... Side profile... And a picture with my YZ10 ready for our vintage run in 3 weeks' time! Read more about this project and others on my blog if you're interested. Thanks! |
