Default Savage Fun ?

I really fancy a nirto fun car for crimbo. The Savage looks like the obvious choice.

Has anyone got any opinions / reccomendations on what's the best fun for your cash ?

Ta.

the hpi baja 5b !?! that looks ace..

yea, if i was getting anything like that, it would probably be the savage 4.6 ss , i think it comes as a kit so you can build it properly.
I was looking at getting one this year but just ended up spending mi cash on other stuff like big lenses, zx5's, xx4's and x10's

Heyup Jimmy.

Is there really any advantageto building it yourself ? I thought the HPI kit was supposed to be decent ?

To be honest I was thinking of getting one 2nd hand or a discounted new one from e-bay ? Whattdya think ?

I had that MGT for 2 days before i took it back because of the build quality.. shoddy!!!.. im sure the HPI stuff is better, I prefer to build it miself tho since at least youll know how to fix it later

savage is pretty cheap now, the price of these monster things is a lot lower than it used to be. buying one 2nd hand you never know how the engines been treated i guess

with these 'monster trucks' they are bashing machines, and if used for that, they are great fun, if you want to race them, expect to start shelling out for some serious 'upgrade'

I recon I could get my box stock LST (other than body) around a track pretty damn fast.

actually, I have switched radio/reciever but only because I would kill someone driving such a big truck with a steer wheel
