two sets shown with and without pivot balls in place...

Machined from High tensile grade aluminium, and including pivoting ball joints. A direct replacement for the original parts with 1 and 2 degree off sets. Had a few PM's about these. So better add a little more information..

Price..

I'm hoping the kit will come in at £35.00 inc. both braces and 4 pivot balls.

replacement pivot balls will be £4.00 for a set of 4 and are made from stainless steel.

Hope to have them for sale in about a week or so.

If you want to pre-order/reserve a set if you post on here or send me a PM. I'll reply to your PM when they are ready.
Any that have been pre ordered I'll reserve for 1 week from me replying to your message telling you that they are in stock.

Postage is Royal mail signed for.
U.K. £2.35
Europe £8.45
outside Europe £8.95

Payment will be via PayPal. Which I'll PM you when I send the message saying they are in stock. This is purely to stop people sending me random money that I then have to hunt down what it's for (believe me it happens)

Cheers
Noel

A few picture of it installed on Chris Evison's car..

Now officially for sale...

@ £35.00 for the kit and £4.00 for a set of extra ball joints.

MOD. NEEDED....

2 minutes with a file.
Just to clear things up, THe mod is just the 2 chamfers on the edge, Not the slot in the middle. This is a Tony Parr chassis and the slot is for a different mod I belive.

Cheers
Noel

Bong, Is it sat down properly? Hard to tell but it looks like it's a little up on those images. Make sure you have given it plenty of clearance.

I cannot find the standard Centro parts on JEMODELS. What is the price / performance advantage of these Cream parts?

Hi Neil,
The price for the kit, i.e. front and rear braces and 4x hinge balls is £35.00
replacement balls (set of 4) are £4.00 just in case you flick one across the field

It sorts out the problem of wear and play in the rear end of the C4.1, Comes with the standard 1-2 deg. offsets but with washers/spacers this can be altered to different angles without worrying about the hinge pins restricting movement.
As a bonus cost less than the replacement standard parts (£35.49 for the pair).

Hope this answers your question.

Regards
Noel Grundy

Yes, thank you. If these parts reduce wear then this is a big advantage as my current C4.1 does have significant play in the rear braces.

Could the mod for this be done on the carbon chassis?

I don't see why not, It's only two small chamfers to the back edge.
As always with carbon though, Make sure your in a well ventilate place, preferably with a mask on.

Nice! Not trying to thread hijack but do you do something like this for the X6 Squared?
