Hi Ive just built one , best tip I can give you is to go through the manual and run all the screws into the holes that they go into before you start to build the car as I found some very hard to get started when i was building mine

also, put some different shocks on it. Look around for second hand B4 shocks as the kit shocks really are terrible.
If you are running a lipo battery then put around 150g+ of lead at the front end of the car to stop it wheelying

Be very carefull when tightening the screws that go into the motor plate, as they can strip very easily on some kits. If you strip them use a centre punch and whack the plate around the stripped hole a couple of times to make the hole "smaller" so the screws bites again.

When you build the diff get hold of some associated silicone diff grease and some black grease. The diff grease goes on the larger balls and the black grease goes on the smaller balls.

Do not use power tools to assemble it as it will strip screws.

Get yourself a set of ball bearings and build the car with them. It will run a lot better and wear less. They can be had for around a tenner so nothing major.

Here is the US - TQ Racing, we have a different shock for the car - incredibly smooth. I've been racing 20 years, some of the best, easiest shocks I have ever built.

Out kits and parts should be available very soon!!

You can see pictures of two of the cars on the pic thread.
