Default New belt and 20T pulley for X5?

Hey i saw in the euro wrap that there was a heavy duty black belt in the x5 and a 20T pulley, the pulley is what im most interested in, is it a new product or has it been adapted from another car, the extra belt wrap will have to help skipping i would imagine, any help dudes?, thanks

This "may" come into production soon, we are just evaluating them at present.

Patience, please. Belts and pulleys have been the Achilles Heel of the X - 5 since the moment of birth, and are a part of the reason the car has been discontinued. At the same time we will support the X - 5 as long as possible and actually want to improve it.

The black belts and new pulleys you saw are part of that effort. We have several big decisions to take this week, then parts to make/acquire. Once that is done we'll have them available for all.

The belts and the pulleys you saw are one-off purpose-made items (expensive!), not off the shelf from some other manufacturer. The good news is that they ran very well at the Euros.
