I think the key is the window line... give the car a proper roof and it looks so much better...

Mine is hardly inspired but looks a lot better than it would with kit windows and kit decals...

Heres mine.. painted by Blitzboy...

Was the first run for the BMAX at the weekend at Worksop... Ran the pred rd 1 & 2 then ran the BMAX Rd 3 and Rd 4.. Rd 3 wasnt good... adjusted diffs and slipper and changed suspension etc around, but ran kit springs all round, 40wt front, 30wt rear.. car was awesome.. so easy to drive! Plus went 1.5 secs a lap quicker.. not bad for first time out! Final was a none starter as i had an electrical prob which is hopefully now sorted!

Cheers

Nick

Ive just finished building the b-max and am completly new to this but found the car great fun to drive a handles well.

Interesting to see the paint jobs, i made a complete hash of mine, ended up painting the whole thing metalic blue, nice colour but no window masks and the supplied stickers just bubbled and creased due to the angles on the car.

Im going to order a new body and take my time this go around it looks good with the roofline extended.

Can anyone recommend where i can order a new body from and any idea of cost.

wow i must say that some of your B max's look delicious. Unfortunately mine never showed up from Hong Kong, but they have contacted my post office and are sorting it out. I cant wait to build mine when i finally receive it. I keep hearing people say how easy it is to drive. How does this car compare to the DB01 platform? What are some of you guy's using for saddle packs? Im thinking about going with the new line of saddles that SMC has out.
