Default DB01-R and LiPo's

I was just wanted to know what if any mod's where made to the battery tray to fit stick lipo's. I was thinking of smoothing out the raised cell flashes in the tray. Any veiws, mod's used would be good.

Jk

I ran 23mm tall lipos with no modifications at all. I did subsequently switch to the TA05 carbon battery strap - partly because it's slightly thinner but mainly cos it looked cool!

Yep, for tall lipo's the ta05 carbon strap and spacers under the clip mounts do the trick, no other changes needed, even for big lipo's!

I got a bit ocd with mine, dremeled out some of the cell webbing, just to lower the lipo a bit, so it sat a little and I was able to screw in the battery strap retainer posts a turn or two.

just dremel the webbing on the chassis so the tray is flat, the webbing stuff isnt even flat so the battery wont sit true every time u put it in, it means the battery sits better in the chassis as well as lower

I didn't dremel the webbing but put some thick foam tape in the recesses on the bottom to cushion and grip the Lipo. The carbon strap is nice too.
