There will probably be vat and import duty to be added onto the price of those in Hong Kong!

It also has ball bearings, bringing it closer to the X-pro than the madrat one more step. But there is no mention of the graphite reinforced parts that replace the madrats standard plastic on the X-pro

indeed
But it does not say graphite or carbon fiber, might just be glass fiber.
Does the mad rat have glass fiber reinforced plastic?

NO, its just plain boring old black plastic. No glass fibre, no carbon and no graphite. Just plastic.

If they started getting all posh with the plastic then the price would also rise. And at £50 can you really see that????

So... do you think the weak rear T piece will be stronger on the pro? Is it worth getting one for a pro to replace the broken one on my mad rat?

Also it doesnt look like the pro, more like a mad rat with slightly upgraded shocks. The pro cars come with clear bodyshells and not pre-painted.

So in fact, its about £25 more than the Ansmann version......
Dude, your forgetting that its not an ansmann car. Its made by the same company, but not marketed under ansmann etc.

Dinball sell kits all over the world, any make, whether or not contracts are in place etc. Its only the same as someone using Otley Modelsports ebay and purchasing from overseas etc.

Col, if there is a contract to supply the car to Ansmann, to sell under the Ansmann brand name, exclusively in Europe, then Team C shouldn't be supplying outlets that will brake that contract. Why do you think, Horizon cut out sales to Tower Hobbies... as they sold to overseas markets, and upset their distributors.

BUT, difference being that there is a binding contract in place that prevents Team C being sold in the UK. If Dinball are selling to the UK then their supplier has broken the contract and will instigate further actions to retract them being available to the UK.

We currently have Ansmann head office Germany on the case and should have it sorted by the end of the week.

but to be honest, by the time you pay deliver and import duty tax, it doesnt work out a great deal cheaper anyway, so i dont think its going to effect Uk sales much to be honest.
