right, you clamp the piston on an M3 screw, with a nut. Whack it in a drill, then using a knife, spin the drill up, and hold the knife at the angle you want and the material just comes away, they are only either Delrin or Nylon. once you have cut the desired shape, clean up any burrs whilst still in the drill, with some smooth emery cloth, then deburr the holes....

Free tapered pistons!!

Nice build pics! Looks a quality car!

Do you know how thick the inner and outer hinge pins on the front wishbones are?

Do the slipper pads fit B4 spurs or does the entire spur gear with pads fit a B4?

Last but not least does the front end have 25° or 30° kick up (not caster on the hubs)

I am thinking it has less rake on the front (25' poosibly).

B4 spur and pads would fit on. All the hinge pins are TRF tourer ones, outer are 2.6mm inner are 3mm

there would be a minute difference, but to be honest, not noticeable, but if you fancy trying them, but don't want to stump up the cash, worth a punt (plus being a trained engineer, my hand skills are pretty good, and got a genuine engineers eye... and he isn't having it back!!)

Default trf201x

I built mine this Saturday after some quick shipping from stellamodels.

http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_m...00628&id=16126

I raced it yesterday at Titchfield Off Road Club Hants (TORCH)

http://www.torchracing.org.uk/index.php

With the right tyres and a few tweeks the car flew around the track

The top boys were doing 13 laps, I was doing 12's so not bad for the cars first outing.

It went bloody well in the final

Need to show my SV some love to ensure it stands a chance of being at the sharper end

I'm gonna run AE springs on this car. It may help...
Brown Fronts, and maybe silver rears... 35 wt AE all 4 corners..

If that doesnt work then I'll go back to the stock springs...just a little experiment...
