Default UK SC Nats, R5 @ Coventry

Hi All!

Little reminder that the next UK Short Course National takes place next weekend (21st August) on the CMCC's dirt track

Fact Sheet

The series caters for all abilities from the silly fast to the super slow, so please do not be afraid to come along and have a go! The race meetings so far have been nice chilled out affairs, and you'll not get more racing for a fiver anywhere else

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!

The killer question!

I used Hot Bodies Megagrid on the rear and Hot Bodies beams on the front of my SC10 at last years SC Shootout they worked pretty well

J Concepts Goosebumps, Proline Calibers / Bowties / Bowfighter and AKA Cityblocks all work as well.

The majority of the track surface is hardpacked dirt that is dusty, jumps / high wear sections are astroturf, and there is now a short grass section as well...

If the weather is really bad I think the meeting will be switched to the Astro track, so bring a set of Kourse Kings just in case.

The Dirt track has been modified slightly for the SC Nats, the areas that the 1/8th scale cars have really torn up have been taken out so the lap is slightly shorter, I'd expect most people to be running six or seven laps with a 2wd anyway.

I've not tried Enduro's myself, I'm sure I've seen them on a couple of trucks in the past though, looking at the tread pattern they should be fine.

You should now be able to post on the CMCC forum as well.

We haven’t got a shop attending Sunday.

I've also been asked about food, for Sunday food and drinks will be available in the club house for breakfast and lunch.

In addition on Saturday evening the club BBQ will be available for people to cook their own food.

Fantastic photos. Glad to see in all the photos of my CAT Blitz it's the right way up

Was a great day and loads of fun. Big thanks to the organisers and fellow competitors. Looking forward to more of the same very soon.
