The reason you are snapping them is because you are doing up things with it at an angle, which puts loads of pressure on them.

Ive still got my AE ones, im just waiting for them to wear out. My 1/16th one snapped when i was in a rush and angled it. Ill have a look at my other one, it's never broken, but the tip is moulded into the handle, cant remember the make.

The new associated ones are rubbish! Mine are made of cheese, I have had them about a year now and I have had to grind them back so many times (because they round off) that I already need a new 16th tip and my 0.50" lasted about 5 minutes

My old AE driver lasted 13 years before finally I snapped it.

And I thought it was me being a tit that was breaking them

I keep the Associated handles, and put EDS shafts in them, seems like good quaility stuff.

Of the smaller tips, the brand I have been most impressed with are the Wiha tools that Schumacher (used to?) distribute. Pretty cheap too.

Wiha is a proper tool brand, not cheaply machined drill blanks in a bling handle.

Milzy i think my car uses imperial screws...... Unless you've made a metric car.. isnt 1.5 the pinion size

Why don't we move away from 1/16 allen ????? It's too small

It seems like FH screws at the bottom of b4 & b44 can be replaced by 5/64.

Also, it has the great advantage to be equal to 2mm, the most used size on metric cars
