Powering Transponder
Has anyone tried to power an MRT transponder off another power source thats not the receiver?
I have a 40mhz Ko Propo handset / receiver I want to use with a vintage car but its only two channels on the receiver. I am just trying to see if there is another way of powering a transponder. Separate battery pack etc. Yes I know I should upgrade to 2.4ghz and I am saving for a Futaba 4GRS, but in the mean time I want to try and use my retro Ko Esprit 2.

Hi, you can use a “Y” cable splitter and connect the transponder together with the servo or esc.
