Default B-MAX4 One-way

I was thinking about trying a one-way in my B-MAX4, does anyone know the part number and where I might be able to purchase one? I'm happy to purchase a second-hand one if somebody has one? Thanks. Oz

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but could I ask why 4wd doesn't use one ways nowadays.

Back in my racing days it was mandatory to use them, as it was the only way to get around the corners. Is it just a case that cars are just too powerful now and they wouldn't stand up to the rigours, or is just that today's cars have developed so much that they can handle the corners without them.

I believe the excuse is that 1% of drivers (those that are likely to make a national A final) are too fast and need to brake these days.
So in their great wisdom, manufacturers chose not to make them because this 1% won't ever use them.

Jurai Hudy almost punched me when I asked if a oneway would come out for the XB4.

Thanks Jimmy, I guess the need for more braking makes sense, although I'm useless at braking

I only got back into racing this year after a 20 year break and the available power and car control has moved on a long way. Back in the day you needed to be very efficient to last 5 minutes, which meant keeping it smooth in and out the corners, sadly I still drive like that

At least it won't be a direct fit in the shaft drive B-Max4 with the BX belt drive pulley.

Hi Mes

I was talking about this one...the front one way.
Not the same ball bearings 12x18 for Bmax4 and 10x15 for BX ( to find 10x18 ball bearings )...same Diff rings...for the pulley...as BX pulley and Bmax4 Ring gear ( BM-503 ) got the same number of diff balls ( same assembly )...perhaps it could be ok ? or perhaps I am wrong , the Bmax4 dogbones perhaps not fit with the BX Outdrive...

But it's right that I never heard someone asking for a One way on a Bmax4...

Tomorrow, I try to post a measurement of the Front One Way width...to compare with the Bmax4 Diff (you've got...) width between bearings

Aarrggh !
Too wide...or perhaps with ball bearings wider...10x18x5...

lol...we should forgot I think.

The D4 Front One Way should be the good solution...
