Default Futaba 3GR owners (40mhz)

Right, I feel completely stupid asking this, but having spent over 2 hours playing with my new (to me) 3gr, I cannot for the life of me how to switch frequencies. Can anyone help?
It came with no manual, and the one from the futaba website is for the 2.4gig version, hence no section on changing frequencies. I'm not even sure which channel it's currently using, but I'd like to be prepared for tomorrow so I can change if needed. Also race control will want to know what I'm using too right?

Google has been useless...

Hold down select when you turn it on, this will give you access to the system menu, pretty sure the first item displayed is frequency.

Aha! System menu found, thank you.
I think I'm getting it now, as I know how to change the tx. I had assumed the Rx would just match up, but it doesn't seem to. Am I right in thinking that despite a synthesised Tx, the Rx still needs the xtal swapping to match whatever the Tx is using?

It depends on what Rx you are using.
I forget the model number, but if its the one with no xtal slot but has 2 little 'electric pots' on the top you use these to select your frequency.
The 1st pot selects the 1st digit of your freq & the 2nd pot does the 2nd digit.
The 3rd digit is always 5, so there is no pot!

Obviously if you have a slot to put in a xtal, then you would need a xtal that matches the frequency selected on your Tx.
