Default SC10 gear diff on B4.1 Ft

Hello!
What I need to buy to install this diff on my B4.1 FT?
AS9827 - diff kit.
What about transmission case for gear diff, rear chassis plate and motor guard?
Thanks!

They should be a direct swap as I think the transmission housings are the same.

I bought the complete kit..fits perfect..I race on carpet indoors..really grippy..I live in Ireland and some of our guys have been to ardent and still say our carpet has more grip..the geared diff totally changed the car....let it turn better in hairpins and also settled the car on the sweeper..car stopped wanting to hook..havnt tried it outdoors yet..

Hi,

The gear diff is a direct swap into the B4.1

Part #: 9827

Also there no chance of breaking the diff bolt!!

I thought the 4.1 came supplied with the gear diff!!!!-a quick look around some searches and it looks like the RTR 4.1 does come with the gear diff and the FT version doesnt. So does that suggest that AE reckons the ball diff is better?Certainly some reports say the gear diff is definately better indoors on carpet-can anyone comment on its use outdoors on grass?cheers PC.

Are any of the top lads (Cragg/Bradders etc) running the geared diff in the B4.1? If not, have they tried it?

Get it done! itd be interesting to hear your findings. Although what works for you in a Mid motor may not in a B4.1.

Anyone trying it in a B4.1?

What oil do the SC10 guys use? That'd be a good starting point.
