Default final drive ratio

hi all, if i have a final drive ratio of 5.04 would that be quicker than a final drive ratio of 5.34

yes its faster. A large pinion v spur gear gives a high top speed where as a smaller pinion with the same spur gives better acceleration but a lower top speed. It all depends on the track, short and twisty go for acceleration ( smaller pinion) ,Longer straight track bigger pinion ( be careful not to go too big and burn out the motor). The lower the ratio the faster it goes
