Default Yokomo YZ2

Hello
I am after some advice on how the YZ2 performs on low grip Astro i,e British wet winter conditions.
I am currently driving a BMAX2MR so is a YZ2 going to be a hand full until the good weather arrives, I am not interested in adding the BMAX rear conversion
Neale

I love my yz2 on all surfaces. Actually, at outdoor Batley astro track it drives better on wet astro than when it dries.
On indoor track (mostly slippery wood) it is also better than my bmax2mr

Yokomo YZ-2

No 4WD because nothing lives up to my original Optima. Until now maybe?...

That's weird, on dry astro, when setup correct, it should eat the bmax2.

I too have bot cars and find that the Bmax is a lot better on Astro. A friend of mine spent a lot of money on option parts for his YZ-2, almost all the brass/steel hangers, weight etc. and his car drives very well on wet astro. Of course the setup is completely different than on dry astro then.

Did you find a decent setup for wet / low grip astro? pretty much in the same boat and looking for a decent base setup that I can then tweak. I'm running ball diff, weighted etc.
