LAZER ZX/R SPARES/CARS
Hi all. As title really...Fancy a little vintage rc so bought s/h zxr(supposedly) off of the auction site. Anyhoo, it arrived today and it aint a zxr and its worn out. I need...4 drive shafts all the outdrives(axles and diffs, and all 4 hub carriers as there is loads of slop. I'm sure it will make one but I payed a little over the odds but thats my own fault. Would also like a body set too. Fingers crossed. Be nice to pick some of the above up. Let me know if you could suggest anyone or any sites. Thanks.

You can try this place for spares they are able to get hold of quite an extensive range:-
http://www.tamiyaparts.co.uk/tamiyaparts/tpx/kyosho.htm Your going to need part numbers so these might help with that:- http://www.retromodelisme.com/manuel...zx-kyosho.html http://www.retromodelisme.com/manuel...-r-kyosho.html Repro ZX bodies from this guy:- http://www.tamiyaclub.com/trades_model.asp?cid=48650 But to be honest by the time you price up all the parts you need at the price of Kyosho stuff at the moment you might be better putting the one you have back on the bay cutting your losses and trying to get hold of a complete car in good runner condition from a reputable seller. I will pm you a link to one that is for sale at the moment that might be worth investigation

Spares galore
http://www.goldstarstockists.com/tam...tpx/kyosho.htm and more http://www.benracing.co.uk/acatalog/...s_Page_12.html Screws from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/TeamFastEddy Body shells (Lazer ZXS or Optima Mid LWB) from http://www.kamtec.co.uk/ UJs that are better than standard http://www.miwahobby.co.jp/ Rear hubs http://www.rckenon.com/public_html/s...29&osCsid=aac2 More information on www.radiocontrolzone.com if interested. You can also look out for the hyper clutch, yes its £50 but worth the money. You can then use and still get 98t spurs which comes in handy Quote:

Front gear boxes - No hoper there mate, they have all gone. They are so hard to find and if you do its gonna cost a lot!!!
Best option is to look at fibre lyte and buy the front shock tower with the half circular top section under James ZXR options. This can handle a hell of a lot of abuse and a a lot stronger than anything else. Its been tried and tested and I have never broken one. Knuckle arms are easily available from one of the links above tha I have listed. Best get the part numbers for them so you can find them.
