Default VINTAGE R/C RACING @ RYDE/SYDNEY

We've just had our annual vintage meet at Ryde in Sydney,Australia. It was a long weekend for me with 5 mates from all parts of the East Coast of Australia spending the weekend at mine as well as 2 others staying with relatives up the road.
There wasn't a real lot of sleep in between tooling, visitis to the Ryde and St Ives tracks, drinking, jaw flapping and other stuff R/C related. We managed to cram a full weekend of awesome vintage R/C.
The event itself was held on the outskirts of Sydney at the very popular RYDE track. We have been working hard to get the surface up to scratch over the past few months and the result was brilliant!
I didnt get around to making a head count but i am sure there were 10 classes in total at one point and possibly around 40 odd competitors from what i could tell.
There was a very strong representation from all the manufacturers old buggies across the board. I didnt get a chance to hear all the results as I was trying to pack my shelfer collection back into my car well into the dark. I'll just let the pictures do the talking from here ....

Looks like a lot of fun! Interesting to see all the modern rubber on the classic cars...

I just got some modern-sized wheels for my gold-pan rc10, but haven't yet broken them in. Hopefully this weekend!

Regards,
Ty
