Default Which lipo's will fit?

Hi i just wondered if anyone has fitted lipo batteries to their Tamiya cars.
I have a M-05 Mini Cooper and would like to fit a brushless system and run on Lipo batteries. Are there any lipos that fit straight in or would i have to do a bit of cutting to get them to fit.
Looking to buy a Escort and a Lancia to do the same thing also.
Cheers

There are those that fit without modifying the chassis. Intellect (IP), Team Orion and many others make LiPos in the shape of NiMh batteries. Here is one example of what you should be looking for:

There are links to batteries in my TL01 thread but as I found out make sure it has ball bearings fitted throughout or the extra heat and speed will melt bits of it!
