Awesome example of the cougar 2 mate takes me back to when i had one although it never looked that good.
If it goes as well as it looks you'll be well pleased.

Default Cougar 2 runner. UPDATE.

Went to broxtowe today. Cracking day all in all. Had the cougar out and it never let me down all day.

Ran a 7.5 with NO !! belt slip or diff problems. Pro diff super smooth. Car handle very well and handled the 7.5 in blinky with no issues. No breakages either.

I ran the stagger ribs and proline ribs and I prefer these over the stagger rib. A lot more safe for this buggy in the dry on astro. These are not as snatchy as the staggers I found. Good high speed and low speed turn in.

Cant wait for the Iconic now !! Roll on July.......

Think I'm running a 24 pinion on an 89 spur in my Cougar - with my 6.5 - but then its quite a mild (fixed zero timing) Hacker motor. It runs cool & fast on this gearing - the same motor & gears are used in my ProCat.

Mark.... your Cougar2 looks absolutely ace in action... when are we going to have a Cougar shoot-out at Hinckley?
