I am still a bit confused about this, although that last night shows what to do I still don’t understand the benefit of flipping the links. Can anyone advise what it does?

When flipping the bellcranks, apart from a small amount of filing and removing a small shim from behind the servo to the servo mounts to gain a bit of clearance to the drag link is there anything else you need to adjust?
For some reason I seem to have lost a significant amount of steering lock when turning right which I am unable to correct through the transmitter. Nothing is fouling the linkages, and before doing the modification everything was fine with minimal adjustment made on the transmitter to achieve even lock.

I can't see how flipping the bellcranks would have a negative affect on RH lock, but I have had problems with gaining enough RH in the past with the bellcranks the correct way up. I found repositioning the servo horn and lengthening the steering link, then readjusting the trim on my radio allowed a lot more steering throw. This may solve the issues your having.
