Default FrSky TFR4 aerials - what do you do?

Does anyone know if both aerials are needed to run the TFR4 receiver? Is one for reception and one for telemetry? And if two have to be used, what layout is recommended?

I've put mine in a 12th car with one aerial going up the mast and one flat along the chassis. My thinking was that, like the original Futaba receiver, one aerial is set at 90 degress to the other. I'd like to use only one aerial, but don't want to have the bring the car home in a bin bag if I get it wrong!

Any help appreciated; thanks.

I put one up the aerial mask and the other wrapped up in the servo leads.
To date never had any problems or interference !
