Cells and Charger!

Hi there,

im looking for some advice on a few things and wondered if some of you can help. After being out of racing for about 10 years ive decided to start again at my local club bury. After finding a nice graphite academy on ebay with a nice speedo and motor and servo and purchasing a brand new sanwa gemini 2 i need some advice on cells and charger / discharger.

by all means im not going to be conpeting regionalfor a while etc but i want to future proof myself in some way or another. I do have some cash but dont want to go mad as i need various other bits and pieces to

can any one make some suggestions for me

here the SB sport i picked up ( i know its not losi or yokomo ) and im even thinkiing of buying the zx5 in this forum for a comparison but what the hell its nice, its clean its been used once and it was a bargain.

let me know your thoughts on the cells and charger, i already have 2 sets of peak 3600 cells and i have no idea what there like. back in my day we had the black sanyo cells with the pink writing

Hi Fella.

If you want to be really future proof you need a charger that can do Lipo as well as NIMH. I just bought this one :

It is reasonably priced and has mains and 12 capability.

I'm guessing the ZX5 that you have seen is mine, I can assure you it's mint, it will be like a totally new car once the KM conversion fitted. if your interested i've got an Eagle CDC charger that is both mains and 12V that is nice (no lipo ability though), and also I have quite a few sets of 3300GP's you may be interested in as well as the ZX5 !

sounds great to me, you will have to let me know how much your looking for what you have as this money does seem to be burning a rather large hole in my pocket!

the cells and the charger i will most definately be interested in but see if you can commit a deal to me as im willing to lay out for god kit. The ZX as i see it is most definately good kit :-)

Looks like the link to the charger didn't work properly, The One I got is called a Sigma AC/DC charger. If you search on the Ripmax site for Sigma, you'll find it.

no PM as of yet re charger and the ZX5 etc, ill await for it to arrive, maybe the carrier pigeon has stop for a tea break or something.

im certain i can put work your way, myself and a friend are setting up a media a company, i just think on top of what we have already your portfolio and services would be a great addition or something along them lines. My friend already a digital print, graphic designer and myself with alot of sound php, html and other programming languages should do ok. hes already got the printing customers were looking to delve more in media also.

but in any case the site is ace, did you do all the flash work on the site??
