Default saddle lipos which is best

HI I am after a bit of advise ,

I am looking into replacing my currant lipo saddle packs ( robitronic 5000mah 50c) they have served me well just like to upgrade.

I have seen on brca website, GM V-MAXX# 9900 56000mah 60c.

any advice on where to get these or suggestion on other batteries of this type would be good.

thank mike

Hey Mick,
im not one for negative comments against things but im just reporting my findings, i tried some vampire lipos this year, i was attracted by the price, my first thought was WOW, they seemed very punchy. But they soon went 'off', they have started to swell quiet bad now too. I find myself using my nearly 2 year old Orions again that the vampires were meant to replace. I dont really see vampires any different from the cheap intellect packs from HK

I really dont think you can go wrong with Orions even tho they do cost a few more £££s

I quiet fancy trying some Reedys.

speaking to people Gm's sound quiet good too !

We have had less than a dozen packs of Vampire LIPO's returned all season with any issues and that includes the stick packs, saddles, micros, 1/12th and 1/8th packs, so I dont think quality is an issue, if anything the Vampire's have proved to be one of the most reliable and best quality packs we stock (in the store) and we do carry most of the mainstream popular brands such as LRP, Orion, Losi, Reedy etc

As for the deleted comment of "plus you have to buy them from DMS", not sure what that is "meant" to mean but it is factually incorrect since we currently have approx 14 of our current dealers who carry the Vampire range in stock and all of the rest are able to order them in if needed also, so they are available from a wide choice of outlets...

If anyone has an issue with any please feel free to contact us direct (or the store which you brought them from) and we can look into them for you, but if we dont know about any issues it is very hard to put them right.

I used the vampire 4400 saddles for some 18 months & they served me very well indeed, but i did look after them very well, they didnt lose any punch & always balanced very well,i only sold them as i sold my b44.
Currently using the Orion 5500 90c saddles (mk racing) as i went back to associated b44.1, only had them around 5 weeks but seem very good cells also...and alot of bang for your buck, around £75.

You have said that yourself in several posts in the past, so obviously you have an issue of some kind, I have asked previous what this may be but never recieved an answer.

To be fair LOTS of people dont buy from here or there for variuos reasons, some have their favourite suppliers, some support local shops and some shop around for the best deals etc, we ALL have reasons for where we do and do not buy from.... Thankfully plenty DO shop with us and we are grateful for every single one of them and continue to serve them the best we can at all times as many will vouch.

As for shops, you can say exactly the same thing really, some dont deal with certian suppliers and others dont deal with other suppliers, each and every store in the country is free to choose who to buy and not to buy goods from so your post does not really show up any "Breaking News" to be honest just a cheap dig at a shop you obviuosly dislike for whatever reason.......

I never deleted anything, i think it has been edited and added into a quote.

didnt really wanna start a debate from my comments, just my findings. The bloke was after 'what battery to buy advice' not what shop to buy or not to buy from.

Fully agree Andy, I meant to add that we should go back to the "best LIPO" topic in my last post and forgot.......

I saw that the commnet was not in your original post but it was in the "quoted" post, never knew if it was deleted or added in, hey ho.
