I'll take a pic tonight, but what happened is the female connector within the battery has shifted, maybe @halfway out of the correct position, and melted the case as it's moved. If that makes sense!

Be great if they can repair it, saves me buying a replacement!

normally a poor male connector, ring or email them im sure they will help you out

Managed to pry the connector back into sight and put it on charge on the trakpower charger/balancer for a few seconds.

All seemed ok, presumably it would have failed pretty quick if there was a problem?? Next step if safe would be to try it in a car!

very doubtfull it will have fails normally the cause is as above, if you happy to use it you could use a hot glue gun or epoxy glue to re secure the connector. send it back youll be suprized at the customer service trakpower offer!!
