This was our first time out at the new Bury Metro indoor venue - a massive turn out meant the racing went to 12 heats - split between 2WD and 4WD buggies - with one heat of mixed 'other stuff', made up from electric 8th's, Traxxas Slash's and 10th trucks.

The track is located in a brand new indoor athletics centre new Manchester, UK. The surface is hard to describe - but gives good grip no matter what tyres are used - in fact, even very bald tyres worked well. The guys seem to have got their act together on the jumps - with a fast and relatively easy to race layout - which was changed after complaints during practice.

Simon Moss took TQ ahead of Andy Jones - both driving the Schumacher CAT SX. Simon Moss took the win on 14 laps with Andrew Jones second and Richard Coates third making it a 1-2-3 for Schumacher.

In 2WD, Mark Stanley took TQ but it was Matt Dodd that took the win - Colin May second and Arslaan Butt third.
