The steering is a fairly usual twin bellcrank design with a built in servo saver, spinning on 4 ballraces.

The servo sits very close to the centre drive shaft, and the manual suggests some servos might need a small amount of material removing from the tab to stop it fouling the shaft, the KO 2123 servo i installed was around 1mm away so it wasnt necessary.

The front suspension is similar to the rear, again resting on plastic balls inside the pivot blocks. The steering hub is of the "C Hub" type, with a kingpin top and bottom.

The front driveshafts are of a CVD style (unlike the dogbones in the rear) and come pre-assembled, though i could not detect any lubricant from a visual inspection, so its probably worth dissasembly and a proper look.

At this point, i decided to drop the steel turnbuckles and use Associated blue titanium ones, i used a set from the BJ4x4 which fit well and look much nicer than the easily scratched black steel ones.
