I charge my batteries each week to make sure they're ok. Plus my transmitter displays the charge, and beeps too if running low. So im pretty sure that this is not the issue...

Thanks for your help last night. I definitely saw an improvement in performance after swapping out the pinion.

I'm also going to change the spur gear and see if I can continue to improve...
