So the diff needs to be quite tight, and clutch needs to be a little less tight than the diff.

Just stripped the back off, cleaned out the box and greased the diff in 10 mins...

Better still mount the whole esc on its side with the fan correctly positioned over the fins!
Or ditch the fan completely like I have (at your own risk of course!!) :)

Less turns = less resistance = more current draw = more power (if your batteries and esc can handle it!)

I have a cheapish 40A orion vortex sensorless buggy combo bl setup with powerful 7.4v lipos. I've scrubbed the rear tyres in 3 charges!
