Brett Davis
It's with a heavy heart I announce to those that didn't know the sad news that Brett lost his long fight with cancer on Friday.
Some may of knowen him on Facebook or racing but I'm sure everyone will of know him from operating Brum on TV all those years ago. I only got to know him a couple of years ago and I feel blessed to of known him at all. He was a very a very kind guy and could not do enough to help anyone, the story's he told me about him racing BITD always make me chuckle and that's how I'll remember him. He will be greatly missed by me and everyone that was touched by him. So for those who are not on Facebook and may not know Midlands raceway will be holding a memorial race meeting to pay our respects and all proceeds will be going to his family. It will be held on Sunday 9th October and all on road and off road guys are welcome to come join in.

Very nice man, remembered me by name despite only meeting me once or twice prior. Such a shame.

Brett and I never actually met although we had many many chats over messenger over the years. We were hoping to catch up at the revival but alas it wasn't to be and he was too poorly. I could tell he was a really nice, genuine guy - big loss.
RIP Brett. Dan |
