M11X - Binding

I'm moving over to the Sanwa world from Spektrum and am not sure I have somthing right.....

I have gone through the binding prcess on the 2wd and 4wd

Do the recievers "know" which model they are? If I have model 1 selected on the tx but both cars switched on they both run and respond to the tx - is this right?

The rx should connect to your tx once you have gone through the binding process but it wont know if its you 2wd or 4wd. You will have to setup two different models on the controller other wise you may have issues with end point ,steering balance etc.
