Other than the Colour difference, both Kits were the same Spec though. Whereas, the BD7 '15' & '16' were only Available in a Black Series model. Personally, I'd go for a '16', as its better for Carpet & also gives you the Option of Upgrading it to a BD8, with the Conversion Kit that Yokomo currently Offers.........the BD8 is also a better Car! |

.i.e what do you feel that you're lacking? Are you running the Std Length Shocks or the Slim Short Shocks? Last edited by Wacker1; 18-02-2017 at 11:56 AM. |

If you find that you require alittle more Steering/Response, then you could go to Hole 3 allround on the Towers or go to Pink Springs allround. Hope this helps. Use the Std Silver Ballstuds with 1mm Shims, on the Inner Bulkheads.
If you feel that you require alittle more Grip, you could always Remove the 1mm Shims from the Inner Bulkheads. The Black Ballstuds have a shorter neck, which is 1.5mm lower..........I've found if you run it like that or even lower, all it does is scrub Cornerspeed & create more Tyre Wear! As you're Car sounds like its a BD7 - pre 2016, I'd also run the Spool & Diff in the Low Position. ..........with a 2016, you'd generally run them both in the High Position. Yes it is the 15.
When you say have diff and spool in the lowest position but then adjust it from there depending on the tight Ness of the belt. You mention about the engine mount bolts. There are only 4 on there. Surely it would come loose if you took bolts out |

Yes, you keep the 4 Countersunk screws in, that Attach the Motormount to the Chassis, but if you're running an Aluminium Chassis, you leave out the top Button screw, that Attaches the Motormount to the Top Deck.

I think the 'Kit' Setting on the BD7 '15', was Low Position anyway, but the Front Belt may need to be one notch tighter than what the Manual said. With the Motormount/Top Deck screw out, the Car will generally have more allround Grip & Steering, but you do Sacrifice abit of Rear Traction.........Standing the Rear Shocks up one hole, helps with that though, if you feel that you need more! |

One question I do have. Anti roll bar link mounts. Is there a safe position to start with as you can mount near the end of the anti roll bar or you can move it inwards. Is it better to have them upright or at an angle?

To be honest, I've never Experimented with the Angle of the Antiroll Bar uprights, I've always ran mine so the Uprights are perfectly Vertical, which leaves around 5mm or so, of the Bar exposed.

This is something I have tried and it does make a difference to how the car feels.
